We have had a couple of instances where maps and associated layers have been removed from AGOL (by accident, we think) while offline field collection is still taking place. Is it possible to recover that data collected (in Collector) from the android field devices?

Hi Tim,
Search on the device for a .geodatabase file. You can then use the Copy Runtime Geodatabase to File Geodatabase tool to convert this file to a File Geodatabase.

Thanks Jake, you pointed us in the right direction. We actually used the toolbox in ArcMap, which does the same thing and calls the same python functions. It also appears that we need the 3 files listed below.
.geodatabase
.geodatabase-shm
.geodatabase-wal
