We're using Collector Classic. Some Android phone users have a problem keeping Collector active when their screens shut off. For these users, Collector stops when the screen is off and must be restarted when they activate the screen. The result is gaps in our tracking log and inconvenience for the users. The workaround is to keep the screens on all the time, which uses the battery and leaves the touchscreen enabled.
This does not happen with all Android phones. For example, it's a problem on a Samsung S8 but not the S9.
Have others experienced this? Is there a solution either in the settings for Collector or for the phone?
