Collector 17.0.4 crashes when adding a point feature

Collector for ArcGIS 17.0.4 has been crashing every time I tap "Add feature" (point feature; polygons seem OK). Online/offline doesn't seem to make any difference. The crashes happened in a map with several layers, and also in a map with only a basemap and 1 layer (editable), so number of layers and order of layers doesn't seem to make a difference either.

Possibly the version makes a difference:

Crashes:

Collector 17.0.4 build 1030 on Android 4.3

Works fine:

Collector 17.0.2 build 1028 on Android 5.1

I am trying Collector 17.0.3 on Windows 10 but so far I cannot get it to open.

Mapping points in Collector 17.0.4 also works fine on Android 5.1.1

Hello,

What type of Android device are you running with version 4.3?

I tested Collector 17.0.4 using a Samsung Galaxy S3, running 4.3, and it didn't crash when using the GNSS Capture map in the 'Try it' account.

Can you please test using the free maps to see if the app still crashes on Android?

Collector 17.0.4 crashes on a Nexus 7. It was running Android 4.3; I updated it to Android 4.4.2 and Collector 17.0.4 still crashes when I try to add a point feature. Polygons are OK.

Collector 17.0.4 works fine on a Nexus 10 running Android 4.3.

Updated the Nexus 7 to Android 5.0.2. Collector 17.0.4 still crashes when I try to add a point feature. Polygons are OK.

Have not had time to test with the free maps, sorry.
