Can I go back to online basemap after taking a basemap offline on Collector?

Hello GeoNet Community,

Is it possible to go back and forth between an online basemap and an offline basemap on Collector?  It seems that once I've downloaded the map offline, I can't go back to regular online basemap.  The issue is that I downloaded the area where connectivity was bad, but still hoping to use the regular online basemap for other areas.

Hi Emily,

I don't believe it's possible to go between an offline basemap and an online basemap in Collector.

A workaround may be to Save As your current map and call it the 'Online' map. You will have 2 identical maps in Collector, 1 with the downloaded basemap and the other with access to the online basemaps.
