Currently there is no way to select multiple photos from Gallery when attaching photo to a feature. If you want to attach multiple photos, you need to repeat the steps to tap Add attachment, tap Gallery, and select a photo.
It will be convenient if multiple photos can be selected and attached at once.

Scott, I'm not sure what to say other than it would save a few steps, which everyone will appreciate? In my experience, I don't always add a photo attachment in Collector, but sometimes I do. And, sometimes, I add more than one photo. When I have to add more than one, it is annoying not being able to select multiple photos in the gallery like I can, for instance, if I'd like to attach multiple photos to an e-mail or text in iOS. What I think would be really great is an OPTION in the application settings to enable to user to have photos taken WITHIN the collector app automatically be added to the devices gallery/camera roll. Why? Redundancy. And, sometimes there is a need to use the photo in another context than just in Collector, so it would be nice to be able to easily grab it from the device rather than via GIS.
Hey Tyson,
Thanks for sharing your perspective on this idea! When you're attaching multiple photos to a single feature, what is your workflow? Are you taking dozens of pictures or 2-4 images at a time? Are you looking to email or use these images in other apps if they are included in the gallery after collection?
Any workflows you can detail can help us better understand this request.
Thanks,
Scott
This enhancement would allow field workers to boost their productivity significantly as they can upload all photos at once, instead of manually adding one at a time. This is because the current workflow is:
Uploading existing photos:
Click upload > Add a photo > Click upload > Add a second photo and so on...
Take new photos
Take photo > Confirm > Take photo > Confirm second photo
This workflow is time-consuming and an enhancement would reduce labor costs for the end users in census/housing data collection projects.
Loading 30 pictures at once, sometimes from a subfolder. Here are the 2 main issues:
