How to translate objects?

Hello everyone,

I am wondering and struggling with how to translate 2D objects in vertical direction.

Actually, by a rule file, I can translate objects. However, original objects are still can be seen. When I delete the original objects, at the same time the translate objects are also deleted.

Do someone know how to translate the objects without remaininn the original objects?

As you can see in the picture, red surfaces are the objects translated, and blue surfaces are the originals. So I cannot remove the red ones.
