Hey,
Our 10.1 printing solution was not working for some of our users. They would click the export map button and nothing would happen, except they would get an "angry star" icon. One of the users determined that it was caused by the google toolbar on internet explorer, which was blocking the map window from popping up (thus the angry star). This happened even though the pop up blocker was disabled. Once the google toolbar was uninstalled, it worked. They also upgraded to Adobe reader 11, which seemed to help.
I just wanted to share this in case someone else has this problem.
