Help debugging error: [esri.views.3d.layers.DynamicLayerView3D] TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'requestRender')

After I create a drawing and switching from sceneview to mapview, it is sometimes the case that I see the error below. I couldn't find similar errors online and the bug is difficult to reproduce. Can someone give me a hint on what the issue may be?  Though my map continues functioning, the console error is a little concerning. I am on api v4.22
