I'm sure there is a post out there somewhere describing exactly what I would like to do, but alas after a day of searching the forums I have not found anything, so please forgive me if this a double post. I'm trying to develop a Flex application that will allow me to show all our buildings on our campus, as well as all our room information for each building by floor. An example would be something like this http://earth.geog.ucsb.edu/icm/ only using Flex. Being new to Flex development, I'm not sure how to create widgets that will A) have a list of the buildings and when you choose a building from that list it zooms to that building B) has a list of the floors and when a floor is chosen only that floor appears on the map and all others turn off C) if possible, chose a theme for the rooms i.e. rooms colored by use or rooms colored by department etc. I appreciate any help people can provide.
PS- the data is all ready to go, just need to figure out what to do with it.
