I have been playing around with different surface interpolation methods. I find that the Topo to Raster produces a much more informative surface for my data than a spline. That said, the raster product does not seem to be useful in generating contour lines. Whereas the spline will generate multiple lines, the topo to raster surface does not, even with the same contour interval. Any reason why?
