So, I saw this error on an otherwise wonderful story map setup created by someone else. What might have happened?

I am not seeing any errors. It looks like the second link posted is just to the web scene viewer and not to the story map you are seeing an issue with. Can you post a link to the story map?

The problem is with ArcScene, you are correct.

The ArcScene was never set up, and will get removed since the person who would have worked on it moved on to a new job.  The story maps are worth looking at, they are wonderful.
