Hi there. I'd like to automate slicing a complex 3D shapefile or feature class with a horizontal plane at a given elevation (any software is acceptable for this solution!). I know this can be done in an editing session, but this is needed to be performed on thousands of features iteratively within a geoprocessing script. Can anyone recommend a method or tool?
