Elevation profil with fixed scale

I have some questions in relationship with the creation of elevation profiles:
- is it posible to fix the scale of the elevation profile, so that the relation between the X - and Z - Axis is always the same?
- Once you have designed a graph profile, is it posible to save it, so that you can aply the same design for another feature?

My questions refer to ARCGIS 10.

There are a few unpublished enhancement requests for the specific ability.  All are marked as to be considered in future releases of the software.  I would encourage you to create an Support Incident to be added to the enhancement request to increase it's visibility to development or create a post on the Ideas website like this one for a plan and profile tool.
