Hi there,

I would like to find out how I can make my BLUE line to be 30m above the surface so that it actually starts from the top of the crain (Image).

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Is the crane a graphic or is it a 3d feature? Is the blue line a 3d line? You could try adding an offset to the blue line but that will move everything up.

They are both 3d point and 3d line.

If that crane is the representation of a 3d point then the actual point elevation must be somewhere between the end of the blue line and the top of the crane. If you were only wanting to see the blue line to start at the tip of the crane, you can either add a Layer offset to the blue line or subtract a Layer offset to the crane. I would go with offsetting the crane as the offset moves the whole feature.

(right Click on the layer in your TOC to bring out Properties| Select Base Heights | Layer offset.

Cheers,

Mike
