I am interested to simulate and calculate area which is likely to be submerged by construction of a proposed dam on a river. The location (lat, long) and proposed height of the proposed dam on a river are already known. I have SRTM DEM 1 ArcSec as well. The resultant submerged area is required to be calculated and shown on high resolution satellite image or Google Earth.
Is it possible to do this in ArcScene or suggest me any other software which is meant for the purpose.
