e-searsh max number of results

Hi ,

I saw there was a similar question 3 years ago, but mine is a little bit different.

I'm using the e-search widget on a layer that is hosted in my portal.

the max number of results I get is 1000.

is there a way to change this through the widget?

I can't find a way to update the max record number of the hosted feature layer in my portal..

the portal version is 10.6.1.

Dikla,

No there is no setting in the widget for this as this is something that is controlled by ArcGIS server directly.

I normally duplicate the search map service and limit the max return count to 10 or 5 and configure it as source of the auto suggestion list for my search box.
