How do you call the LoadingIndicator.js from a function.

Please forgive my newbie question. I need to call the loading icon from a function that displays on the map area. can someone help?

I am able to listen to on map update start, but I don't know how to use the LoadingIndicator.js and use it in my script.

This looks to be a duplicate of your question Web AppBuilder, How can I add a loading overlay image? which I'm assuming didn't answer your question? (if it did, please mark one response as answered Mark a reply as the Correct Answer , or as assumed answered) You may want to delete this thread, change the name to the one on this question (which seems clearer) and give the other a "bump" since it already has some responses.

The map object has an update-start and update-end event that you can use, but you may want to hold off as
