topic Attach Files to A Table in Web AppBuilder Custom Widgets Questions

I am trying to attach files to a table. The file selection will be interactive and the table has no geometry so I can’t use attachmentEditor. I created a GP script with file as input. This works great in ArcGIS Desktop but when you bring it into Web AppBuilder it looks like just a string field. Does anyone have any suggestions?
