Select Widget only display active layers

Is there a way to only display those layers that you have active on the layer list (is turned on)?

We have a long list of layers, and it would be good to only display those that the user has turned on and displaying in the map.

I'm using Web Appbuilder Dev 2.7

Maybe I am not understanding, but if you do not show layer that are not visible how would you turn them on ever?

That would be based on the Layer List Widget. If the layer is turned on in the Layer List Widget, then you would see the layer in the selectable layer list in the Select Widget. Does that make sense? The user would then be able to check/uncheck the layers to select from within the Select Widget.

That does make sense now. Your best bet is to call esri tech support and submit an enhancement request for this.

I figured that. Just looking to see if anyone may have attempted it already.
