New to GeoNet and Custom Widgets.

Can someone recommend some online resources for a person new to web appbuilder and custom widgets? We are trying to create a widget that will calculate water pressure based on an onclick event that would pull in a value from an existing polygon and a value from a DEM.

There is not a lot out there besides the WAB Help pages that have a widget development guide:

Naming conventions—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers

and then sample code section of the help:

and the development overview:
