retiredate for Sewer UN Data model

Did somebody knows what's the logic behind missing 'retiredate' field for Sewer Line Feature Dataset inside Sewer UN Data model as there is such field in Water Line UN Data model?

I would like to have a field where we should record the date when we've change lifecyclestatus from "In Service" to "Abandoned" or "Retired"

P.S.: As there is no Sewer Utilities specific Labels I'm posting it here

The "retiredate" field is not currently part of the Sewer model. However, you have the option to manually add this field if you wish to track the retirement date.

Yes, I know and that's exatly what we are going to do, but just wondering what's the reason (if any) and if there are ESRI plans to add it? 🙂
