Data Sharing Policies/Agreements

Hi - I'm looking for information on other utilities' procedures/policies for handing requests for data. I'm particularly interested in policies that try to strike a balance between data sharing and system security. I'm also interested in whether utilities have different or "tiered" policies depending on the request: (a) the type of assets, (b) geographic precision, (c) geographic extent/scope, (d) non-spatial attributes requested, as well as any redistribution agreement(s) you may require.

If your utility has policy/procedure/thinking along these lines that you can share, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi All,

I would like to jump on @andysp request. I am in Washington with Alderwood Water / Wastewater District. We currently have a lengthy NDA when we have a GIS request which results in a major delay with lawyers back and forth. For the agencies we work with regularly, we would like to speed up the process while still making sure our data is safe. Let me know if @ASHAFFER @AW_Grove @andysp are willing to share policy and agreement language. Thanks!
