Create Sink Structure - Not responding

Hello,

I have been using the Create Sink Structure tool from ArcHydro without any issues. I developped a model builder using ArcMap 10.7 that uses that tool. I'm am currently tyring to use the same tool with ArcMap/ArcHydro 10.8 AND ArcMap/ArcHydro 10.6 but something is wrong. The tool is running but the project (mxd) just keeps not responding. I always have to shut it down throught the task manager.

I am currently trying using a relatively small area around 3 km sq (I used to run it on a 50 km sq and more without any trouble so it can't be space issue). I have also developped other tools that are using archydro 10.7 and have been able to run with 10.6 and 10.8 successfully. Hence, I find it hard to beleive that THIS specific tool just woul d not work anymore.

Has somebody run into a similar issue?
