I'm calculating areas of aquifers of New Mexico. The state is between two zones and I'll likely need to create my own datum. Does anyone know which system is the best to preserve areas in the State of New Mexico?

If you post it on one of the other communities, you might get a faster and specific response. http://forums.arcgis.com/index.php
