HEC GeoRAS 10.2 Import Error

I used Hec-GeoRas to create a simple drainage path and cross sections on an elevation raster.

Exported to Hec-Ras 4.1.0.
Analyzed it and exported the results to SDF.
Converted the SDF to XML.
Tried to import the XML back to Hec-GeoRas
Import failed (see screen shot pic)

Google seems to be telling me this is a somewhat uncommon error (?) and that the only solution is to go back to Arc 9.3 and Hec-GeoRas 4.3.

I have tried creating a personal GDB instead of a file GDB. This didn't work.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what (no doubt obvious) step I am missing?

Is it the SDF that is wrong?

Message was edited by: Shannon Qualie Problem solved - This is a Windows 8 problem. My data and sample data refuses to run on Windows 8, runs flawlessly on identical set up in Windows 7.
