You can downoload small areas at high resolution or big areas at small resolution, like the <A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.esri.com/external-link.jspa?url=http://gdem.ersdac.jspacesystems.or.jp/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ASTER GDEM</A>.
