    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I would like to give my roads (line features) a z value along their length but I have read a few conflicting reports on how to do this (DEM in 3D analyst, TIN or contours) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there a simple and process inexpensive (doesn't take up all my RAM) that will allow me to get these values evenly spaced on my road network ?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;B&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
