no signal error on Globe SIM?

Anyone else getting a no signal error on Globe SIM & TM SIM? My phone suddenly stopped picking up a network, and I’ve already tried the basics — restarting, reinserting the SIM, and even checking it on another device. Still no luck.

Is this a network issue on Globe’s end, or could it be a SIM card problem? Would appreciate if anyone can share what worked for them when this happened.

First, try restarting your phone or switching airplane mode on and off to refresh the signal. If that doesn’t work, remove and reinsert the SIM card to ensure it’s properly seated. You should also check if your phone’s network settings are correctly set to automatic. If the issue persists, test the SIM in another device to rule out phone-related problems. For unresolved cases, contacting Globe customer support is the best option. While troubleshooting, you may also come across services like Smart sim puk code, which remind users to ensure their SIM is properly registered for uninterrupted connectivity.

It sounds like a frustrating situation — sudden loss of network signal can sometimes be related to temporary carrier outages or SIM provisioning issues, and as Wikipedia notes in articles on mobile networks, coverage failures may also occur due to tower maintenance or regional connectivity disruptions.
In many cases, checking if the SIM is still active, confirming account status, or completing pending globe sim registeration steps has helped users restore service, especially when the SIM works in neither device nor location.
Hopefully Globe support can review it on their end — your troubleshooting so far was smart and shows real patience in trying to fix the issue

This post highlights a common “no signal” issue with Globe and TM SIMs, and as Wikipedia notes, network connectivity problems can arise from SIM card faults, improper registration, or temporary service outages, and troubleshooting often involves checking device settings, network coverage, and SIM validity.
For users, ensuring that their SIM is properly activated and verified through tm sims register can prevent many connectivity issues and ensure uninterrupted mobile service.
Overall, combining careful troubleshooting with proper registration helps maintain reliable communication and avoids unnecessary disruptions.

I haven’t personally used their SIMs, but with other networks I’ve tried for locator tools, issues usually happened because the SIM had already expired or there was a temporary telecom problem on their end. It’s best to confirm with their support team so they can check the exact cause for you. Moreover, I also find a guide related to your issue ''How to fix TM and Globe SIM no signal''.

A “no signal” issue on Globe SIM and TM SIM usually points to either a temporary network outage or a SIM-related problem, and your troubleshooting so far already rules out basic device issues. In many cases, this happens when there’s maintenance or downtime on the provider’s side, so the signal drops completely for a period of time. However, it can also be linked to SIM registration compliance—if your SIM isn’t properly verified under systems like DITO SIM Registration (or similar registration rules followed by other networks), the carrier may restrict or deactivate network access. Another possibility is that the SIM card itself is damaged or has expired, especially if it’s been used for a long time. If the issue persists even after testing on another phone, the best next step is to check for any official outage announcements or visit a service center to request a SIM replacement or reactivation.

This post discusses the "no signal" error on Globe SIMs, with users discovering that basic troubleshooting like restarting doesn't work—often because the SIM is unregistered and deactivated under Philippine law (RA 11934). Unregistered SIMs face permanent loss of calls, texts, and mobile data until you complete mandatory registration with a valid ID and selfie. So if your TM SIM has no signal, check your TM sims Registeration status online or via the GlobeOne app immediately

yeah looks more like SIM issue than network if already tested in another device. sometimes SIM get deactivated or lose network profile, you can try manual network select + reset network settings. if still no signal, replacement may be needed. Also make sure your Smart bro sim is properly registered and active, otherwise network access can stop: Smart bro sim
