Url and shortened url automatically change from http to secure site https

I have students participating in the MS/HS contest. The url and shortened url (both bitly and google) automatically change from http to https which require a viewer to sign into our school account. I tried to delete the domain though chrome://net-internals, HSTS but it won't let me. Any suggestions on what to do next? Thanks. Patti

Hi Patti-

When my students did this, their short URLs came out http. I'm wondering if there's a layer on the map that's not shared publicly?

Sharing was the first thing I checked. All layers and maps are shared

correctly. The actual map journal app is opening fine. It is the details

page and I think it is something to do with how the school's Google is

configured when it was created. When I am at my computer I will share the

urls with you.
