This is expected based on the way our tool is implemented. We don't usually expect people to be able to accurately place vertices as fast as you are tapping in that video, so we don't expect it to be a problem in real life scenarios. However, if this is something you would like to see fixed, it might be something we can look at changing in our implementation. I'm not sure if it is feasible.

Hi,

We are using the Geometry Editor provided by ArcGIS (Vertex Tool) in our iOS app. However, we have noticed that some vertices/points are not captured by the editor when the user taps quickly on the screen.

Could you please confirm if this behavior is expected, or if it might be a bug in the editor?

I have attached a video demonstrating the issue for your reference. On the video we are tapping on the screen 4 times, but as you can see the Geometry editor only captures 2 taps, this is more noticeable when creating a line.

<video-js data-video-id="6366877776112" data-account="6161463677001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)

<video-js data-video-id="6366865897112" data-account="6161463677001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)
