Parks Finder - Print Functionality?

We are configuring the Parks Finder for our needs and the last piece we are looking for is to add a print option for users. Specifically, a printout that shows the map as well as the directions in the pull tab on the left.

I've read through the API and it looks like we will need to incorporate the PrintTask code. However, there doesn't seem to be a sample available that uses PrintTask so I can see how it flows together.

Am I on the right track? Is there an easier way to incorporate printer capabilities into the Parks Finder App? If I have to use PrintTask, can somebody point me towards a sample or other information on how to put it together?

We will be adding the ability to print directions to the park in the next release of the app. We did not intend to include a screen shot of the map in our original spec (just the directions) but can see if that can in fact be included in the final spec for this new release.

We have several other enhancements planned for the app as well including:

�?� A new universal app that works on smartphones, tablets and desktop PCs
�?� Photo galleries for each park
�?� Citizen comments
�?� New search functionality

You could deploy the current version of the app now and then just update the app when its available this fall. Or, push through with the changes now. We have a simple HTML print function in the Public Notification app �?? you could look there for inspiration in the meantime. Hope this helps.
