GIS online joins help

Hi,

I'm more familiar with GIS desktop, not GIS online. But I'm trying to learn how to use GIS online and am having trouble joining information.

I've got my shape files (precincts) uploaded and displayed and I'd like to join a spreadsheet with data to those shape files. However, I can't figure out how to join them.

Can anyone help? Thanks so much.

You may probably want to perform the join prior to uploading to AGOL.

I am having this problem also. I have Counties in a shape file, I've joined that with a flat file containing counties that are disaster areas. I can join them in desktop, but then cannot upload the joined layer. I've tried creating a layer file and a layer package without success. I then tried to upload the flat file online and do a join online, but could not select the flat file as an option. There must be a way to handle joins online(???)
