topic Turn angle and step length in Spatial Statistics Questions

Hi all,

I have ArcGIS 10 and GME and I am trying to calcuate turn angle and step length for my telemetry data. I have an excel spreadsheet for one animal with the following columns: Date, Time, Easting, Northing, Zone. I turned this into a shape file and have tried to use the command "movement.pathmetrics" in GME but I can't get it to work. Should date and time be in one column? If so how do you do this in excel? I have tried the function "concatenate" the date and time column but it turns the date into a value and leaves the time correctly displayed as a time.

Any help appreciated!
