I have point locations of snakes, and I need to extract the habitats associated with each point from a land cover raster. Problematically, the points were taken along roads, not within the actual habitats in which the snakes were spotted. I would like to extract the values of the raster cells nearest the "Road" cells without modifying the land cover raster (it's 20GB). Currently I am just zooming in to each point and doing this manually, but thought there might be a way to do it more quickly.
