Leo:

The classic locators that are created in ArcMap do not support "UNNAMED" as the street name. Locators that are created with ArcGIS Pro 2.3+ using the Create Locator tool do not have this problem. You would build the same locator using the StreetAddress role and if you upgrade to ArcGIS Pro 2.5 when it's released, you will be able to use the Address Inspector. The locator can only be used in ArcGIS Pro, unless it is published as a service to ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 from ArcGIS Pro and the service is used in ArcMap.

-Shana

Hi All,

I've created a locator based on a simple street feature class (feature type: polyline). And the locator type is "US Dual Range Addresses".

While using reverse geocoding within ArcMap, the result is works as expect if the street name is 'Unname'. However, if I changed the street name to 'Unnamed', it doesn't work.

I guess there is any key words that geocoding doesn't support. However, I couldn't find any document to support this point. Could you please help me?

Please see the SS in the attachment for details.

 Environment:

 ArcGIS Desktop 10.6

 Thanks,

 Leo
