topic Point density analysis in Spatial Data Science Questions

I have a point layer and each of the points is either category A or B. I want to find out if proximity to category B helps category A increase in weight.
I have separated the file into two layers now; layer A (I have the weights of each point as a field here) and layer B. What sort of analysis can I do in ArcGIS Pro to answer this question?
I want something like checking if a category A point is closer to a cluster of category Bs, it perhaps grows heavier or not. Can anyone share ideas for how to achieve this in Arcgis? I'd appreciate it.

Hi d1onel!

Interesting proposition. The closer I live to the candy store the fatter I get. Something like that?

Yes you could probably make something of that.

I would look into correlation, causation, inverse distance weighting, and Tobler's Law.

https://support.esri.com/en-us/gis-dictionary

Let us know what you find out.
