I have a raster that I clipped to a polygon using the image analysis window (regular raster clip doesn't do what I want) but when I go to save the temporary raster to a hard file I get the same results as using the regular raster clip tool. Is there any way to save the temporary image analysis clipped raster so it appears exactly the same way in a hard raster file?

Using the raster clip tool:

Temporary file produced when using image analysis (desired result when saving as a hard raster file):

When saving temp image analysis to a hard file:

The Clip_management tool does not change raster cell size. If you want to "cut" the cells to match your coastline, you need to use a different tool.

I believe the best tool for this is Extract By Mask, setting the cell environment to a small value, say, 100 meters, though I bet you could set the cell size to a smaller value when exporting from the image analysis layer.

Extract by Mask—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Cell size and resampling in analysis—ArcGIS Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Hope this helps you out!
