Why is my drive time analysis only showing results in North America?

I have a global data set that i added as a layer. I chose the "global" option when I added it. But every time I run I drive time analysis, it only calculates it for US locations. I made sure to uncheck "use current map selection". How do I get it to run globally and show all the drive time areas in the world?
