Problem in Running Patch Analyst

I have prepared a Polygon Shapefile describing the forest distribution. As I try to run the patch analyst, I encounter the following error:

there is a copy restriction on this shape file. could not create a copy.

Any idea whats going on?

If it is the input file, can it be copies on its own?

Have you moved inputs and outputs to a new folder?

Thanks, I was keeping the Map in Geodatabase. As a result, it was preventing Patch Analyst to execute the analysis. I transferred it to an ordinary folder and it worked.

Where did you find the patch analyst plug in? Is there any plug in for ArcGIS pro?

Hi,

I´ve installed patch analyst successfully. My problem is that it takes too long to run ( nearly a day now. My computer has a RAM of 16GB. Does anyone have any idea the best way to solve this? Need to run 9 different sites, but the only one takes this long, I wonder if I can achieve the results.
