I have both the original version made to work locally on my computer and a slightly modified version to run off my work's NAS; both were working yesterday and now both are returning the exact same error. The analyst didn't seem to actually know what the cause was and had me try moving all directories to my local drive instead of the company NAS. Then it worked normally so we ended the call and closed the case.
