Smart reclassify of raster by stand alone script

Hi all

When I put a raster in pro and ask for classify renderer I have a few smart algorithms to create the breaks (Quantile, Natural Breaks , etc).

I am not sure if Pro uses the statistics only or resample the raster to get these breaks but it is very quick for any raster size.

I would like to convert a DTM into polygon layer, since the values are continues I need to break it into classes.

I can easily get the max and min and use equal interval but this does not give good results most of the time.

Any idea how to get these smart breaks if I am in stand alone application?
