I have an SDE database hosted in Microsoft Azure. I can easily run geoprocessing tools on the feature classes in this database, however, when I want to access the feature classes in a stand-alone Python script (using full path to the feature class), I get an error saying that the feature class does not exist.

Does anyone have any idea why this is? Can I use stand-alone Python scripts with feature classes hosted in Azure SQL at all?
