    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to create a python script which do the following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Read a map service&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Use a table from user input&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;join table to map service&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;symbolize the map service based on table field using dynamic layers&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does any one tries this approach, or is this possible using python&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some suggestions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;examine the arcpy function and class tree&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.esri.com/external-link.jspa?url=http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/desktop/latest/analyze/arcpy/what-is-arcpy-.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/desktop/latest/analyze/arcpy/what-is-arcpy-.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;try and associate that with what you want to do, if you can find a link then it is doeable&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What have you looked at so far?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Can you do this manually?&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;If yes... what tools in ArcToolbox did you use?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt; was it simply done through menu and tool choices?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;This of course assumes that you need to do this through python to simplify a workflow that takes a long time and is done repetitively.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
