    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do the Max and Min functions still work within the Field Calculator? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have multiple fields with elevations (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G) that I would like to pull out the maximum value in a new field (ELEV).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried ELEV =&lt;STRONG&gt; MAX([!A!, !B!, !C!, !D!, !E!, !F!, !G!])&lt;/STRONG&gt; like I've done in the past, but it wont work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm about to freak out...am I doing something stupid or what?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please Help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;you toggled on the Python parser at the top of the dialog right? and you didn't put in the ... ELEV =&amp;nbsp; ... part right? and did you use small case .... max ... since python is case sensitive&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
