      <title>How do you update conda?</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Seems like a simple question; couldn't find the answer anywhere.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Conda should be kept up to date by doing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;PRE&gt;conda update conda&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;from the root environment.&amp;nbsp; But this is what I get:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG alt="" class="jive-emoji image-1 jive-image j-img-original" src="https://community.esri.com/legacyfs/online/506665_conda_update.PNG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;The conda deployed with ArcGIS Pro is a specially compiled/configured conda.&amp;nbsp; You do not want to update it, or it will break other parts of the Pro Python deployment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
