topic Export to BMP using arcpy missing shapefile problem in Python Questions

When exporting my map to BMP using arcpy one of the shapefiles is no longer visible. When exporting manually (File/Export Map) the layer shows up perfectly. I tried setting the exact same parameters inside the ExportToBMP to match the parameters from the manual export, but still no luck. I also manually exported the 'problem layer' using Export Data and that fixed the problem, but when I tried to mimic the Export Data process using FeatureClassToFeatureClass with arcpy I still had no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you! I have also tried using export to PDF and PNG, but still have the same issue.

details of the issue undoubtedly lie in the code... which you can share, just ensure you are using the syntax highlighter
