    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The only way I know of to directly read a BLOB field with Python is through ArcObjects and comtypes. There are some functions in ArcObjects that can read some types of BLOB data like intensity values.
