I'm trying to change the Description value assigned to a "Single Symbol" symbology of a layer. When checking the symbologyType property, it comes up as OTHER. As far as I can tell, you can't edit any part of the symbology via ArcPy if the symbology type is OTHER, and single symbol symbologies seem to be OTHER.
