    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ArcMap 10.5.1, Server 10.6.1.&amp;nbsp; No image server extension.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a cache of imagery with cache levels going from a scale of roughly 1:300 and cell size increasing by 2^n.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The cache is post 10.3 and in bundlex format.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some very noob questions, but have always bothered me:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. If an image is published and cached on the server at all appropriate levels, my understanding is the base image would never be drawn - i.e. cached tiles would always be pulled instead?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. cached levels at 2^n are most appropriate from a mathematical perspective, the only reason these may differ is that the cache is intended to be used in a viewer with set scales, whereby the exact resolution eg 1:50,000 can be fetched. Is this a correct assumption?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. How can I publish just from my cache without the original tile?&amp;nbsp; (I have the tiling scheme) Can I just publish any raster (with correct spatial reference) and hide it behind the cache? Would that raster need to have at-least the same extent of the cache?
