Service recycling settings

Hi all,

I would like to ask if ArcGIS Server keeps recycling settings that you set in server manager regardless of the type of instance used for a specific service. For example, we would like to use shared instance type but for some of our services we'd like to set recycling period of 6 hours. Can this be done on shared instance or do we need to use dedicated instances for the services in question.

Marian,

We are running ArcGIS Server 10.7.1. We have dedicated map services and 1 pool of shared map services. I am able to set a recycle time for each map service in the shared pool. I have never needed to change the recycle times in the past. I don't know how this will affect the shared services.
